Engineered for Accurate Weighing
Technology, testing and quality at the heart of every scale
Accurate weighing is more than simply displaying a number. It requires appropriate sensing technology, a stable mechanical structure, reliable electronics and correct installation and verification.
Daphe combines these elements to produce practical weighing equipment for commercial applications.
STRAIN-GAUGE LOAD CELL TECHNOLOGY
At the heart of the Daphe weighing system is the strain-gauge load cell.
The load cell converts mechanical loading into an electrical signal, which is processed by the electronic weighing system and displayed as a digital weight value.
The supplied manual identifies strain-gauge load cells as the load-cell technology used in Daphe scales.
ROBUST MECHANICAL STRUCTURE
A weighing scale is only as reliable as its mechanical foundation.
Daphe platform scales incorporate:
- Load receptor/platform
- Upper and lower frame structure
- Load cell
- Adjustable legs
- Indicator
- Safety grill where applicable
- Electrical connections
These are identified as the principal components of the Daphe weighing scale system.
CLEAR DIGITAL INDICATION
Simple. Clear. Easy to Read.
Daphe scales use a 6-digit, 7-segment LED display.
The indicator system includes functions for:
ZERO
Returns the displayed weight to zero.
TARE
Subtracts the container weight to provide net weight.
STABLE
Indicates stable weighing conditions.
NET/TARE
Indicates tare/net weighing status.
MAINS
Indicates mains power status.
The manual describes the indicator and four LED indication functions, with the exact keypad/indicator arrangement varying by model.
DESIGNED FOR CORRECT INSTALLATION
For reliable weighing performance, Daphe recommends:
A firm and level surface
The weighing scale should be installed on a firm foundation and leveled using the adjustable feet.
A suitable environment
Avoid:
- Direct sunlight
- Strong wind
- Strong magnetic fields
- Excessive vibration
- Unstable temperature conditions
These installation requirements are specified in the Daphe user manual.
TESTING & VERIFICATION
Before using the scale:
- Place the scale on a firm surface.
- Level the scale.
- Connect the indicator and load cell.
- Connect the power supply.
- Switch ON.
- Verify the zero indication.
- Place a verified weight on the platform.
- Compare the displayed value with the actual weight.
- Remove the test weight and confirm that the display returns to zero.
These accuracy-check procedures are described in the supplied manual.
QUALITY & REGULATORY COMMITMENT
Daphe’s business plan places emphasis on compliance with Nepal’s applicable weights and measures requirements, including manufacturing licensing and model approval where required.
